It was cold today. Yesterday, too. Which reminds me, what does it mean when, in the vicinity of Groundhog Day, instead of seeing his shadow or not seeing his shadow, the resident groundhog gets hit by a car?
Does it mean no more spring, ever?

No, no. it means that when spring does come our flowers, herbs and vegetables will actually grow instead of getting chomped down to the ground!

Apparently it does mean no more spring ever. At least in our neck of the woods. But it may also mean a tasty groundhog stew. (Does such a thing exist? Ew.)

squeezyB: Mmmm, groundhog stew.
Carolyn: Phew. Glad I slipped that driver a twenty, then. One down, one to go.
