It doesn’t happen too often, so when it does, it requires celebration.
Witness this: red leaf lettuce, whole leaves of Thai basil, sugar snap peas, and mango with a dressing made of lime juice and fish sauce (details here). I like to pretend there were also mung bean sprouts mixed in, but you know how they turn into bags of pus if you don’t use them within 24 hours (or 362 hours, as the case may be). So, I put them right back into the refrigerator and pretended I never saw anything.
There were, at one point, more than two pieces of mango in the salad. And more than two halves of a pea pod. I don’t know what could have happened.
Woohoo! Salad!! Party in the salad bowl! RrrrrrrooOWWWWW!

Hmm! The disappearing food, that is a mystery!
You have just given me a craving for pea pods!

Holler: Does food disappear on you, too? Nice blog you have over there at Tinned Tomatoes.
Heath: It was a short party. But a party, nonetheless.
